Choose Your Own Adventure, Build Your Own Anthology
After Midnight - A Fairy Tale Noir, which originally appeared in Fantasy Magazine #4, and received an honorable mention in YFBH #20, is now available on AnthologyBuilder.com.
For those unfamiliar with the service, it’s roughly the equivalent of Rhapsody or iTunes for short fiction. For a flat fee, plus shipping and handling, you pick the stories you want, the cover you want, and your custom anthology is delivered to your door. With a very few exceptions, all the stories are reprints, and there are even few classics by the likes of Baum and Poe thrown in for good measure. It’s a neat concept, one I think deserves to succeed. I’ve already ordered an anthology of my own creatively titled Odds and Ends and Things, and I’m quite looking forward to reading it.
