My short story, Strange Fruit, will be appearing in the April 2008 issue of Paradox Magazine. The inspiration for the story, and for the title of this post is the poem written by Abel Meeropol and made famous as a song by Billie Holiday.

I was also pleased to see I got a few shout-outs from Rich Horton in his year end summaries. He mentioned work from Reflection’s Edge (though not which one) and “Little Red” from Jabberwocky 3. His favorite from the anthology was incidentally also my favorite, “The Forgotten Tastes of Chocolate and Joy” - highly recommend reading.
