She Dives for Shells with Her Nautical Nuns

I was thrilled to learn today that my short story ‘Sisters of the Blessed Diving Order of Saint Peter and Saint Andrew’ will be be published by Strange Horizons - one of my favorite publications! It should appear sometime late in 2008, or early 2009.

Speaking of Strange Horizons, their Fund Drive is still going strong. They are offering some pretty kick-ass thank you gifts for donations over $25, but a donation of any amount gets you chance to win some great prizes, too!

For the curious, the title of this post comes from the song, Pandora’s Aquarium by Tori Amos. The lyric sparked the idea for ‘Sisters of the Blessed Diving Order of Saint Peter and Saint Andrew’. More info on when exactly the story will appear to follow.

A Story a Day Keeps the Evil Space Monkeys Away

The good news is that my flash fiction piece, ‘The Chupacabra in Love’ will be appearring over at Every Day Fiction, which, as the name implies, posts a new piece of short fiction every day. Stay tuned for more info on when the story will be published.
